Cornell U. Chooses Michigan Law-School Dean as President
Cornell University's Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Saturday to name Jeffrey S. Lehman, the dean of the University of Michigan Law School, as the next president of Cornell.
Mr. Lehman, who is 46, will be the 11th president of Cornell, and the first alumnus of the university to lead it. He will take office July 1, replacing Hunter R. Rawlings III, who is retiring after eight years at the university's helm.
