Cornell Receives $50-Million Bequest
The Weill Medical College of Cornell University has received a $50-million bequest from an anonymous donor.
The unrestricted gift, announced last month, will be used to match donations to the medical college's capital campaign through the end of 2004.
The campaign, which began in January 2002 and is scheduled to end in 2006, had already raised $386-million before the new gift was announced. The goal is $750-million.
