Corinthian Is Ordered to Repay Loans
Corinthian Colleges Inc. has been ordered to repay $776,241 to the U.S. Department of Education and others for loans and grants that it received as a result of its violations of federal student-aid procedures on the San Jose, Calif., campus of Bryman College.
The company said the department had not assessed any fines or penalties in a "final determination letter," which resolves issues raised in a preliminary inquiry, known as a program review, that was sent to Corinthian in June
