Controversial Scholar Loses Race-Bias Suit Against Wellesley College
A federal judge ruled this month that Wellesley College did not discriminate against a black professor when it denied him a merit raise in 1994. The professor, Tony Martin, wrote a book accusing campus Jews of attacking his ideas, and sued the college, claiming racial bias, after other professors received raises and he did not.
