Controversial Publisher Gives $22-Million to U. of Oklahoma Journalism School
Sometimes a gift can invite teaching opportunities -- though some may disagree about what lessons it presents.
Edward L. Gaylord, editor and publisher of The Daily Oklahoman, in Oklahoma City, has donated $22-million to the University of Oklahoma's journalism school. It is the largest single gift in the institution's history.
