Continuing Problems With Online-Application System Worry Medical Schools
Frustrated by continuing delays that have beset a new online system for applying to medical schools, admissions directors at many American medical schools are taking matters into their own hands.
Rather than wait for the American Medical College Application Service -- known as AMCAS -- to iron out the glitches in its system for transmitting online applications, at least 20 schools are asking students to send applications directly to their campuses.
