Construction Executive to Investigate Collapse of Bonfire Timber at Texas A&M
A Houston construction executive will lead an investigation into what caused Texas A&M University's 40-foot bonfire stack to collapse.
Last month's accident killed 11 students and one alumnus, and injured 27. The university appointed Leo Linbeck, Jr., whose building projects have included office towers and airports, to head a commission to investigate the tragedy.
The commission was given until March 31 to issue a report on the accident. University
