Connecticut's Community-Technical Colleges Will Be Just Community Colleges
What's in a name? At the public two-year colleges in Connecticut, the debate never seems to end.
The Board of Trustees of Community-Technical Colleges appointed a committee that debated the system's name for 18 months. The board hired a consultant, held community meetings, and surveyed students and faculty and staff members. Last month, it decided: They will be called community colleges.
