Congressional Commission on Web-Based Education Narrows Its Focus
A commission that will make recommendations to Congress about online education said in a progress report last week that it was narrowing its focus but had not yet decided to back any specific policies.
The panel, called the Congressional Web-Based Education Commission, is made up of members of the Senate and House of Representatives, along with representatives of higher-education institutions and organizations. The members have heard testimony at four meetings and plan to hold one
