Minority Scholars Find Encouragement on Path to a Ph.D.

At a four-day conference that ended here Sunday, more than 1,000 minority doctoral students found helpful advice, opportunities to connect, and morale-boosting encouragement meant to help them earn their Ph.D.’s and become college and university professors.
