Computer Models in the Social Sciences

In economics, there is a big empty spot waiting to be filled by agent-based simulations ("Using Computer Models to Study the Complexities of Human Society," July 24). While the methodology has not yet been fully integrated into the mainstream of economic analysis, it is simply a matter of time before simulations become just another standard tool.
