Competition Increases for Foreign Students
The United States may be in danger of losing its position as the destination of choice for international students, according to a report released this month by the American Council on Education.
While the country is still the most popular destination, with about a quarter of international students worldwide enrolled in American institutions in 2004, other countries are outpacing the United States in growth in that market, the report says.
