Company Offers to Help Colleges Capitalize on End of '50-Percent Rule'
The imminent demise of the "50-percent rule" is already fueling some new higher-education businesses.
The rule, which prohibited federal financial aid for distance-education students attending less than half time, is set to disappear on July 1.
As a result, lots of colleges with online programs hope to pick up new students who might be willing to try out a course or program.
