Companies Back $225-Million Environmental-Research Effort at Stanford
Stanford University will lead a partnership with three multinational energy and manufacturing companies to study methods of producing power and reducing greenhouse gases. The companies and others that are expected to join have agreed to spend up to $225-million over the next 10 years, making the program one of the largest research agreements ever between the corporate world and academe.
