Community Colleges Struggle to Foster 'Engagement,' Survey Finds
Most community-college students are not meeting their educational goals, according to a national survey released this week.
Twenty-seven percent of two-year-college students say that completing a certificate program is their primary goal, while 59 percent cite obtaining an associate degree, according to results from the Community College Survey of Student Engagement.
