Community College Seeks $32-Million for Scholarships
Robert L. Thornton III does not talk about a new scholarship program that is taking shape at a Dallas community college so much as he preaches about it.
"In a democracy, education has got to be evangelical," said Mr. Thornton, chairman of the Dallas County Community College Foundation. "We are creating partnerships with principals, counselors, churches, and families in these communities."
