Benjamin L. Solow was looking forward to receiving a degree from the University of Iowa when we spoke to him this month. So was his grandfather.
Mr. Solow is earning his bachelor's degree in political science and economics. His grandfather, the Nobel Prize-winning economist Robert M. Solow, is getting an honorary doctorate.
