Columbia College Chicago Reorganizes Program Where Fired Employee Worked
In December, Columbia College Chicago drew attention — and, from some quarters on the campus, sharp criticism — for firing an employee who had created an online cartoon lampooning the college's president. Now college officials have ignited a fresh debate over their handling of the dust-up by announcing a reorganization of the program in which the employee worked, called the Institute for Science Education and Science Communication.
