Colorado Technology Effort Adds For-Profit College
Colorado officials included Colorado Technical University -- a for-profit institution -- in a collaborative education and research entity formed by the state last month. The effort is aimed at moving Colorado to the forefront of the information-technology field.
Gov. Bill Owens, a Republican, established the Colorado Institute of Technology, which plans to begin offering courses this fall, to encourage more students to enter fields related to information
