Colombian Police Detain Mexican Professor Over Drug-Trafficking Research
A sociology professor who is one of Mexico's leading experts on drug trafficking was detained and interrogated by government security officers in Colombia this month as he was returning here from a trip to an academic conference in Bogotá, the professor and diplomatic sources said.
