Government Oversight Lessens For College Workplaces
Inspections and Violations, 1986-2006
The number of federal and state inspections of campus workplaces fell sharply from 1996 to 2006 compared with the previous decade. But the number of colleges and universities inspected, cited, or fined remained roughly constant.
