Colleges Urged to Use Technology to Promote 'Lifelong Learning'
Distance-education technology that could let people of all ages and walks of life continue their education is available today, but colleges and universities have much more work to do to make so-called lifelong learning a reality, according to a report released last week by a group of public-university presidents.
