Colleges That Serve Minorities May Fall Behind in Technology, Report Warns
Most colleges that mainly serve members of minority groups provide adequate technology for their students, but they are in danger of falling behind for lack of reliable revenue to keep technology programs up to date, according to a report released last month.
The survey of 320 institutions found that most of them provided the necessities, like e-mail accounts, on-campus computer networks, and online access in libraries. But many lacked a plan to maximize the benefits of technology
