Colleges Risk Losing More Funds for Banning Military Recruiters
Hidden in a bill that cleared Congress this month is a provision that would stiffen penalties for colleges that bar military recruiters from their campuses.
The provision, which was borrowed from legislation (HR 3966) passed by the House of Representatives in March, would prohibit such colleges from receiving defense-related funds from the Central Intelligence Agency, the Departments of Homeland Security and of Transportation, and the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security
