Scandal Fallout Comes Full Circle, as Colleges Are Asked to Aid a Lender

New York's attorney general, Andrew M. Cuomo, spent much of last year trying to discourage financial relationships between colleges and loan companies, labeling them as potentially illegal and harmful to students. This week the governor of neighboring Massachusetts has been working to encourage such relationships.
