Colleges Aid Tsunami Victims
Colleges and universities are contributing to the outpouring of aid for victims of last month's South Asian tsunami.
The University of Louisiana System's Board of Supervisors authorized its eight universities to offer tuition relief to students directly affected by the disaster. With about 780 students from India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, officials will assess financial needs on a case-by-case basis.
