College in Guam Takes Controversial Approach to Blocking Spam
Fed up with the amount of spam flooding their computer servers, officials of Guam Community College have taken the controversial step of blocking almost all messages that come from free e-mail services like Hotmail and Yahoo.
While the action has eased spam problems on the campus, some students and faculty members are enraged by the decision, arguing that it is keeping them from getting legitimate messages from students and professors who use those popular e-mail
