College Textbooks and Lab Equipment Arrive in Baghdad
More than $5.5-million in donated textbooks and laboratory equipment arrived in Baghdad last month, destined for distribution at more than a dozen Iraqi colleges.
The donation was organized by Unesco and the International Fund for Higher Education in Iraq, which was founded by Qatar's first lady, Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Misnad. It marks the latest phase in an ambitious effort to rebuild Iraq's higher-education system.
