New England College, in Henniker, N.H., is planning its own political convention.
College Convention 2008 will kick off November 28 in nearby Manchester in two weeks, two months before New Hampshire’s primary. The convention is designed to give college and high-school students a firsthand look at politics.
New England College, along with several other organizers, is planning to bring in candidates, campaign staff members, media personalities, political analysts, and activists for the four-day event. Of course, many of the appearances of the perennially overbooked candidates are tentative.
