College Lobbyists Win Administration Assurances on Funds for Campus-Based Aid

For college lobbyists, the budget picture brightened last week.

Officials from the leading college associations here have been distressed for weeks by reports from Clinton Administration officials that the President's fiscal-2000 budget proposal would disappoint higher education.
