College Librarian Quits After Citing Health Concerns Related to Wireless Network
The library director at Southwestern College, in Santa Fe, N.M., has quit her job, complaining that electromagnetic energy from the campus wireless network may have made her ill.
The library director, Rebekah Azen, worked at Southwestern for only six weeks before she submitted a letter of resignation to college officials in December. Southwestern, which has about 160 students, is a graduate school that trains mental-health professionals.
