College Leaders Discuss Ways to Preserve Affirmative Action
The U.S. Supreme Court may have taken some of the luster off race-neutral alternatives to affirmative action in college admissions.
Alternatives to race-conscious admissions policies attracted little interest when the leaders of 48 colleges met at Harvard University in July to discuss the fallout from the Supreme Court's recent decisions involving the admissions policies of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
