College Leaders Ask Senate to Confirm Nominee for a Key Post in Education Dept.
As Congress hurries to finish its business for the year, college leaders are pressing lawmakers to accomplish one more item on their to-do list: approve A. Lee Fritschler, President Clinton's choice for Assistant Secretary for postsecondary education.
