College Groups Join Fight Against U.S. Rule That Could Put Employers on Blacklist
Several higher-education lobbying groups are joining a campaign by business groups to revoke a federal regulation that widens the grounds upon which a federal contractor can refuse to award a contract to a college or a company.
The lobbying groups describe the expansion of the measure, which centers on business ethics, as "draconian" and say it could result in colleges with admirable records being put on a blacklist.
