College Group Ends Talks With Murdoch's Company
The global network of 18 universities called Universitas 21 has abandoned negotiations with Rupert Murdoch's News Limited on plans to establish a joint venture that would offer online graduate-level courses around the world.
But the network has been negotiating with another major American corporation. Chris Robinson, managing director of Universitas 21, would not name the company but said it was not the Microsoft Corporation.
