College Graduates Earn $17,800 More, on Average, Than Peers With High-School Diplomas
What's that undergraduate degree worth?
On average, college graduates earn $17,800 more annually than do Americans who have only a high-school education.
That is among the findings in America's Top 101 Jobs for College Graduates, Sixth Edition (JIST Publishing, 2004) by Michael Farr, who based his conclusions on data and statistics from the U.S. Department of Labor's most recent Occupational Outlook Handbook.
