College Board Efforts Seek to Bolster Itself and the SAT
The SAT may be on the defensive, but the College Board is working on several fronts to defend the test and to protect the company's own future.
The College Board, which owns the SAT, financed a study released last month by the University of Minnesota that says that the SAT reliably predicts students' academic performance not only as freshmen but throughout college.
