College Board Backs Off From Accusations That a Critical Watchdog Group Had Violated Its Copyright
A month after accusing one of its critics of copyright violations, the College Board said last week that it had overreacted.
This fall the College Board, the nonprofit organization that owns the SAT, wrote to the National Center for Fair & Open Testing, a watchdog group known as FairTest, demanding that it remove from its Web site charts of demographic statistics related to SAT scores.
