College Basketball and Academics

In "Putting the 'College' in College Basketball" (April 12), ... Welch Suggs says that "even teams with good records of graduating players have ways of beating the system." He then notes that six of our current student-athletes on the basketball team are majoring in communications studies. I explained to Mr. Suggs that this was not usually the case. If Mr. Suggs had done his research, he would have found that for the entering classes of 1990-96, we did not have one
