College-Admissions Service in Britain Moves to Online Applications
The university application process in Britain is entering the digital age.
The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service, which handles applications for nearly half a million prospective students a year, will provide its services entirely online beginning in September 2005.
Until recently, applicants to the 325 universities and colleges in the service's network had to make do with a paper application -- and a large number of errors and delays. The forms were photocopied
