Colgate U.'s Next President to Leave Yale After Just One Year; Deep-Sea Explorer Docks at U. of Rhode Island; Gates to Stay at Harvard, for Now

Ms. Chopp, 50, who is finishing her first -- and last -- year as dean of the Yale University Divinity School, will become the first female president of Colgate University on July 1.
