Coalition Asks Defense Dept. to Halt Work on Student Database
The controversy over a military-recruiting database continues.
Last week a national coalition of student organizations, privacy advocates, and antiwar groups urged the U.S. Department of Defense to stop collecting information about high-school and college students for the Pentagon's Joint Advertising and Market Research Studies program.
