Clinical Degrees in Pharmacy and Other Fields

To the extent that William L. Siler and Diane Smith Randolph are concerned about the quality of clinical degrees and access to high-quality education, they have some good points worthy of discussion ("A Clinical Look at Clinical Doctorates," The Chronicle Review, July 21). However, my impression is that the authors are more concerned about maintaining the status quo than about degree creep. ...
