Cleveland State U. Settles Lawsuit Against Oracle Over Software Glitches

The Oracle Corporation has agreed to pay Cleveland State University $4.25-million to settle a lawsuit over problems the university experienced with PeopleSoft software.

Cleveland State purchased an early version of PeopleSoft software in the 1990s to manage the university's financial aid and student records. University officials said that glitches in the system caused delays of months in issuing financial aid to thousands of students.

In January 2004 Cleveland State filed suit
