Christian Student Group Sues Rutgers After University Revokes Its Recognition

A Christian student group sued Rutgers University at New Brunswick in federal court last week, arguing that the university had wrongly revoked the group's recognition and withheld financial support.

The group, the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, said it was considering a similar lawsuit against the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which had threatened to revoke its recognition of InterVarsity over the same issue. Late last month, however, that campus's chancellor said
