Christian College Loses Court Battle
A federal judge has upheld a Colorado tuition-assistance program's policy of denying aid to students who attend a college viewed as "pervasively sectarian."
The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Marcia S. Krieger was a setback for Colorado Christian University, which filed a federal lawsuit in 2004 arguing that Colorado laws that deny state aid to students who attend the private institution violate the U.S. Constitution.
