Choosing a College: Student Voices
Young adults applying to college these days are bombarded with information — from the institutions themselves, from well-meaning relatives and friends, from high-school counselors, from directories and news-media reports, and from a cottage industry that has spawned consultants, test-prep centers, and special Web sites. At the same time, they need reliable information on financial aid, academic work, location, campus culture, "fit," and such factors as the level of school spirit
