Chinese Universities and Overseas Institutions Work Together on Distance Programs
Educators and officials in China have been aggressively trying within the country for a decade to develop distance education as a way to deliver courses to students. But in recent months, several Chinese universities have expanded their horizons by beginning to cooperate with overseas institutions to start distance-education projects.
Fudan University, in Shanghai, signed an agreement last month to become part of the intercollegiate "global classroom" system of the Global Knowledge
