Chinese Students Riot Over Degree Switch
Thousands of students at a college in central China rioted last week in a dispute over which institution's name will appear on their diplomas.
The rioting at Shengda Economics Trade and Management College, in Henan province, broke out after officials announced that this year's graduating class would be 1the last to receive a degree from an affiliated institution, Zhengzhou University.
Students, who were told that in the future their degrees would bear only Shengda's name,
