Children of Single Mothers Found to Develop Similarly to Children of Single Fathers
A study of single-parent households refutes the idea that children raised by single mothers are at a disadvantage in their development because they lack the discipline a father might provide.
In the study, researchers at Ohio State University compared 456 15- and 16-year-olds who lived in single-father households with a similar group of teens living in single-mother households.
